We've had quite a few photoshoots (link / link / link) at the house and we'd certainly like to host a few more. The open, inside-out architecture of Eichler homes is great for both still and moving images.
When booking the space, not only do you get the run of the place as well as the use of furnishings -- but the assortment at ModApple.net is also available which might make the sourcing of mid-century props a bit easier. It's sort of a one-stop-shop for location shooting. Plenty of on-street and dedicated parking space is available including the driveway which backs up to a full 400SF of prep-space available in the garage. The house electrical wiring is upgraded with many dedicated 20A circuits. There's WiFi and gigabit ethernet. There's even a very friendly cat who likes to sneak into a shot or two.

Hi-I found your blog via Apt Therapy. I grew up in Concord and many of my friends families lived in Eichler's just like yours! Brought me great memories taking your house tour.

What's up Hunter?! Your blog is a favorite of some blinds store I came across while looking for some blinds for our trapezoid windows! We're still keeping it real here in the only MCM house in the hood!(Also: any ideas for the windows? It's for the high ones in the bedroom and office/playroom/guestroom. Also they need to be noise repellent and bullet-proof LOL)

Hi Allison... I hope you and Bill are well back in West Oakland (the only MCM house in the neighborhood is certainly true). Sorry for the belated reply.
Hmmm. Those odd shaped windows. I just sent you a note to your yahoo account...
